Cory Long Poet Rhyme

This Time

Anyone can do it, 
anyone can get through it.
Knowing it’s hard to get off the drugs,
scared of what lies ahead of her.
Knowing deep down that she’s had enough
Wondering what life would be like without the drugs.
Setting a bad example was not what she had planned
It’s time to take control back once again.
It’s time to find the strength that she holds within.
She can’t change how others feel inside.
She can only change her world this time.

I have a niece through marriage who is in and out of rehab because of cocaine addiction.. she has a two year old son.. so sad..luv.. hope all is going well with school..
