This Thief of Hearts
Who is this thief?
this thief of hearts
anchored in this well of loneliness
scattering the leaves of love
like a treacherous storm
Capture her beauty
smell her scent and
fall into her emptiness
the abyss of the unknown
the exciting and dangerous
like a roller coaster out of control
the imminent danger
lurking in the distance
Her intoxicating scent
overpowering your senses
The magnetic pull so strong
relentless struggles
futile attempts
to break free
Who is she? this Delilah
with her prowess
destroys reason
destroys loyalty
Shame on you!
no conscience
no heart
for all your breath taking beauty
mention not of a duplicate abyss
on a mission of deception so deep
This is tormenting my souls
Yes two
One which is kind and honest
The other is like a tornado
destroying everything in its path.
