this rainbow is what I needed
a rainbow appeared in the sky at three p.m.
there was something tranquil and peaceful about it
I felt it had been placed there by faeries or angels
maybe my faerie godmother, even, because I needed it
there was an instant calmness about me,
I felt like I could slow down now, and be at peace
this rainbow made me feel watched, loved, and beloved.
