This Placid Warm Winters Day ..
Its a warm winters day.. the sun's shining high in the powder blue sky
A wisp of a feather cloud faintly visible is the only cloud to be seen
Powder blue gently blends to light blue on the dark blue sea horizon
The waves higher in longer intervals make a distinct crashing sound
Dispersing into a frothy fringe reflecting blue sky in the wet brown sand
Leaving trails of bubble foam shimmering and glittering with the sun.
Inhaling the smell of fish salty air a fisherman walks by with a bag of fish.
Pear-shaped loofah Moist lettuce green seaweed Big leopard jelly slugs
Long brown seagrass fingernail seashells and yellow noodle seaweed
The light breeze causing the sea to shiver and shimmer with the sunlight
Hoofprints in the sand show two horses, one huge clydsdale horseshoe
The second a smaller hoof-print, they had a gallop and a beach gathering
And there is a new type of seabird to grace our shores, a diving aquabird.
Another huge kite is raised from the beach by the jeep in the far distance
It looks like a figure with a fishtail..a mermaid perhaps holding something
Walking towards the giant floating artwork it becomes clearer the figure
Is a muscley Merman with gray hair and beard holding a flowing sword
