This Place of Peace

So calm, this place of peace inside your arms
     A warm blue mist of love lives in your eyes
I see in them the beauty of your soul
     It’s where my destiny forever lies

So sweet, this place of peace inside your arms
     Your touch competes with nothing here on earth
Like angel wings a flutter on my face
     Ten thousand rings of gold match not its’ worth

So calm, this place of peace inside your arms
     Your voice, a song, a silken lullaby
I’ll savor every second, every breath
     As we now bid to sleep, our dreams to fly
