This Nebula Night

Expectant eyes searched dark sullen skies Stellar starlight was dim this nebula night The mourning moon in silent swoon donned sorrow's shroud beneath a cosmic cloud Her vibrant veil, faintly frail Brilliant beams became stygian streams Then dawn danced as aurora* advanced

Beautiful imagery in this one Lin. "Brilliant beams became stygian streams" expecially liked this line, well said! Bill

Nothing more beautiful than the night sky in all its glory Lin. Your last line is the grand finale. Good luck in the contest. Hope your week is going well Tom

I'm so pleased by your thoughts on this one, Tom. I toyed with the last line for some time, but this one appealed to me the most, as it did to you. I removed it from the contest, after being reminded that photos were supplied for inspiration. None of the photos were of a nebula. lol Senility approaches? Thank you.
