This Love
The fire of lust burns in my eyes.
You are my love, my life.
Yes, it's you I need.
I confess, my sin is greed.
Why? I do not know.
Before you my life was nothing but shadows.
But that was before, this is now.
You bring light, somehow.
Things are finally right in my heart.
You gave me my new start.
I need you so much!
It's you I love!
I cannot shake the way I feel.
You have caused my heart to heal.
I think that you, My Love,
Must be a gift from above.
An angel on loan, if you will.
I wish this moment would stand still.
Falling for you was my greatest mistake,
And I promise you I shall never forsake.
And like the unwritten promise between us,
Nothing is more right than this love.
