This Knight, This Night

Upon fine steed, this knight defined
By sword and armor, prepared to fight
One hand on reigns and so inclined
That if it’s needed, he’ll then pull tight

So off to battle, he rides on forth
His heart is big, protected strong
He wavers not from destined course
For with his people, he so belongs

This knight, this night, traverses well
So gallant, proud, faithful, true
To come back soon with tales to tell
But for now, he bids adieu
