This is your Land

I would reach out to the dome of life
where tragedy ends and fighter's spirit
finds the broken grey simulated pray
grit and superficial untimely disappearance
if you would choose to stay
don't forget I will be back one day.

Don't hesitate and don't humiliate
stand not alone next to your throne.
Overthrow those who are too close for comfort
understand love is prone to hate
it will open the gates a little too late
if you wait too long it will be gone
before rattle snake finds its mate.

So, it is true, legacy is all for the pain and gain
surrender all the fame, just take your time
be resistant to slime and take yours not mine.
With due time understand just one more demand
could mean the end.
Take your stand, this is your land!
