This Is Why

So you want the real story
Once apon a time
I committed a crime
The details all too gory

I speak my secrets when I sleep
Discovered the hard way
This is how he makes me stay
This is why I am in trouble so deep

He made me his wife
So I stay in this hell
To avoid a prison cell
So this is the story of my life

Beneath the tattoos that I wear
You’ll see the many scars
That are not from crashes or cars
But you’ll only know if you really stare

You see he was my best friend
And he pushes me to be violent
I retaliate and stay silent
Unsure how this will end

I torment him with many a sordid love affair
Sex for him is sacred
I just like to get naked
You can’t force me to care

He says I am too hard
I have no heart
He knew this from the start
This is my winning card

No one will ever get me whole
I will always win
Even if I pay using sin
I have no heart no soul
