This Is Why (For June)
... You were there when my world was bare
As light making rainbow from my tear
You held me like a candle hold its light
When the winds put fallen leaves to flight
You made me warm in the shawl of tomorrow
I took your joy and you took my sorrow
So lay me down here, I'm a treasure for you
I'll shine for you, be the bridge for you
The night has no dark for you, cross me
Where the river rise, drink of me like a bee
I'll be song for you, and in a drop of gold
I condense the world, a treasure for your soul
You are first morning kiss, my evening bliss
The eternity that in sweet Eden I miss
You made me from a dream of nothing, so I
May see my diamond studded worth of sky
And when the wind blows cold, you take me
Home again, heart to heart, you solace me
