This Is My Testimony
I have been blessed a million times over, Wearing these scars from battles, has made
me a strong independent soldier, I am no longer a warrior stuck in the mist of good
versus evil fighting for the wrong side, I know longer drag my feet holding my head
down, I take long graceful steps as I walk this life with a soft stride,
Taking in every breath as my heart pumps at a faster rhythm that I now call pride,
Each day I awake seeing life through eyes that are now opened, allowing my mind to take
over my body, leaving my senses in control, Awakening to see the rays of a beautiful sun
shining down on my soul, feeling his hands touch me with the warmth of his glow,
I want to reach out to him, to show him, how much my life has been reformed.
This is my testimony to the warmth of his hold, How he touched me and molded me unto a
treasure made of the purest gold, He placed a pen in my hand and guided it to give the
world poems from the soul, To write stories for years to come, for everyone in the world
to behold, giving you words of wisdom, cooked from the heart and fed too the soul,
but most of all, From a love that runs so deep, That it makes you want to hold on to
life, grabbing it by faith, letting him know that, He has all of the control.
