This Is Me Yellng, Ha
This is me yelling, "HA!
No matter how I feel,
today my laughter,
satan will not steal!
Laughter is healthy,
that's what I've been told.
I'll start with just a giggle,
and then get really bold.
I'll try a quiet chuckle,
and then a chortle or two.
But listen to me now,
because I'm not at all through!
A good belly laugh
is what my body needs.
I'll let it ripple like a tickle.
Ah! That feels so good indeed!
"What soap is to the body,
laughter is to the soul."
That's an old Yiddish proverb,
I long ago was told.
Laughter's like medicine.
It works faster than a pill.
And when you are in pain,
humor just might fill the bill.
Stress busters are the humorists
God puts in our lives.
Because He knew through them,
humor refreshes and revives.
I'll watch an "I love Lucy" rerun,
or, read the comics page.
And anything that makes me laugh,
will be my go-to-stage.
The heart, the brain, the lungs,
need stimulation, too.
Aerobics for my insides,
they'll respond with, "I Love You."
Now my body, mind and Soul,
laughs with me and starts to glow.
It's just what the doctor ordered.
So what are you waiting for?
Let loose a belly laugh or two,
and let me hear you ROAR!
