This Is Me

Sometimes it gets better
Sometimes I heal
Sometimes my eyes get wetter
Waiting for these scars to heal

The scars on the outer
The scars on the inner
I scream in more agony louder
But my voice just exhausts and trails thinner

That’s me
The hurt me
The scared me
The dying me
The heartless me

I’m the labelled girl
The ‘psycho girl’
The ‘messed up girl’

I don’t know who I am
Not anymore
I just wish suicide
I just want to end this war

Just give up the fight
Give up this life
Head towards the light
Deep into the night

Because when you live in hell
Heaven will always win!

I want to cry for you. God gave us our lives to live. I pray you find strength to fight your demons, get the support you need and find joy in your heart. Keep writing beautiful girl.

The poem is a revelation. A opening to the soul. This is how poetry hooked me. I was feeling bad, real bad when I began to write verse. It was so satisfying and still is. Keep writing my friend and learn to live with this dog world fleas and all.
