This Autumn Crypt

Trees, shedding their leaves;
Colors change, as summer dies.
Bears prepare to hibernate;
Plants wilt and return to soil.
People retreat, out of the cold.
Forests weigh heavy,
Smelling of rain and decay.
A gravesite made 'til Spring.
