Third One of Many

Over where the Delphiniums bloom Cornflower Blue The Zephyr blows on quiet morns Then the excited voices come to play And screams resound in heat of day Where splashes and laughter Are common things Stress disappears Joy relaxation brings Children smile with dimples As water drips from hair Drenched like salamanders Once again where Delphiniums live (Jotted on any available paper)

Through your words we can see the flowers and hear te children splaching in the summer heat, Sara. Janet Frame has really inspired you to pen some wonderful poetry! Love, Carolyn

So sweet, Sara...Drenched like salamanders".:) A wonderfully bright and colourful write! This builds a beautiful scene, Sara. Now I'll have to look up "Delphiniums" and "Zephers" online! They are magnificient, but not as precious as the children! Best to you, Mikki

Sara I knew what you were saying in your footnotes. But at first I was thinking this set of poems was from that author you quoted as well. Your poems are THAT good. I thought you were showing that author's own poetry. YOu really did well with these little poems and great imagery! a highest rating for them.

I absolutely love the second stanza Sara! Jotted on any available paper? That is the absolute trait of a natural poet... always ready to release the the thoughts as they come... and liberate them in characters on papers... for them to be eventually graduated to the medium through which they will beautifully paint many minds... Sara, i feel so encouraged by that fact... CHEERS Soupmate! >Wish you a lively and inspirational week ahead!
