Thinking Thankful Thoughts

"thinking thankful thoughts"

on this day I think of a friend
hoping and wishing for the moon
with trials so plenty and full
I hope smiles will heal soon
wishes sail through skies
telling angels to see this through
when reflecting on goodness and light
such a friend defines everything right
on this day of thinking thankful thoughts
grateful will I be if you grant my plea
may this wish reach the shining stars
and fill life with beauty and peace
