Things Don'T Stay In Tune
Chances are
That things
Won't be the same
In fact they aren't
We lied
Not just you
Not just me
Summer's coming
Real fast
Faster than when
You drove off
We didn't speak
Not just you
Not just me
Winter break
Was too long
But that night
Didn't last
We pretended
Not just you
Not just me
That drive
It killed me inside
The distance and
Hours it took to get to school
We hardly played
Not just you
Not just me
Somewhere I let go
Of most of it
But my heart's still
Skipping beats
For you
For me
Just not in tune
