Notes About The Poem

Trump pushes conspiracy that Haitian immigrants in Springfield Ohio are eating our pets. Haitians scared for their lives! A satire, from Trumps lips to my pen!

They're Eating Our Pets!

He said it, it's true, this man never lies They've been cooking our pets right before our eyes A German shepherd pie? A Persian cat on rye? You heathen Haitians, there's really no surprise!

I love your funny reply. I still have my Pug, presently on the couch, snoring away and I am sure HE is not afraid of being eaten by anything even a cat. Isn't T. the most unbelievable piece of work. He is delusional among other things. GREAT read that I am so happy to have found. I can't wait for my husband to read.

Robert loved the Trump looking cat lol. Shared with my wife... I use to think that the Chinese people were picked on with their menu offering other animals in their selections on the menu. I have a friend that went to China as an Electrical technician to set up production lines. He shared a story with me that he and his technician friends sent there from America decided to go out for lunch They went to a restaurant and he said that they all watched in horror as they were cooking rats as part..

of the lunch menu. He said they all got up at once and lost their appetite for a long while. He said there it is like eating chicken. I went on Youtube and saw how they prepare the rats and cook them. They love rat there it is part of their culture...

Robert..."His Ugliness (D.T.) loves to pick on the downtrodden, and many (as you point out) believe all that he says. He is the tool of some super rich oligarchs who will do anything to accumulate more wealth. They picked a very clever pied piper. Hopefully, and for the benefit of all his followers in MAGA-land he will self-destruct before the election. If not...god help us!!!

Ever meet a Haitian immigrant? I used to teach them. Bizarre would describe the behavior of most of them. (And I had students from the M-E who never saw an electric light or runing water before). I would not be surprised at all to learn that Haitians eat cats or dogs. After all, high-powered scientists were promoting beetles, cockroaches, and related insects for their protein value around 2016-2017 in 'Scientific American' magazine. Bottom line: Any and every food is an acquired taste. ~ gw

I chew on my knuckles for protein. I am a PETA member! lol. "Different strokes for different folks." We should examine our own culture for flaws before we lash out at others. Your eclectic knowledge always welcome, Gershon. My best, Robert
