THEY MAKE ME BELIEVE
I’m a sucker for a windswept cape,
The beloved hero who comes over the hill
And a beautiful landscape cheers him on.
And I can feel her heartbeat against her chest wall
And see the candles light up her eyes, and the blush
That rushes to her face and breasts, like cold wind.
My chest rises and falls with her heaving breath,
I fall in love for the first time, all over again.
And the birds sing sweetly, flowers surely faint.
And when he speaks, oh my, when he utters those words.
~ I love you ~
She’s been waiting forever to hear, and I – two. (hours)
Finally a roaring fire kindles in them, kindred spirits.
And I am that woman with ebony hair that yearns
to be his wife, and of course he is rich and oh so nice.
Their lips meet, hers soft, his passionate. Their flesh says “yes”
But they let the heat build until the promise is complete.
I believe, they make me believe – in true love, forever after love.
