They Left Me
Whispers and laughter fill the room
Glares that speak to the spirit
They left me in the coldest night
All alone
With no one to help or to hold
They'll throw things
And spit in my face
Shouting insults
"You're worthless"
"You're a disgrace"
"I look at you in disgust"
My world is slowly crumbling
The walls closing in
Is there a way out
They left me feeling dark and lonely
