They Don'T Understand
They don't understand
I ask them to allow me live
Still they pollute my space
With their ignorance
Forcing me to be who
Am not meant to be
Was the friendship
They desire from my soul
Is obvious they forgot
I have my mind
And that is not for trade
They don't understand
Cos they wish to see
Me behave
They way they think
They border my personality
Only for me to be convinced
Into a life they never suit
My soul
So sad am judge just
For how I look
Not by the content
I bear
So when I write this way
Is very obvious still
They don't understand
They don't understand
Why I refuse to change
They want me different
But I want to perceive
My self by my self
What else do they want
I wish I could gave that
Very thing they wish
But I can't trade my destiny
To lesser than what it deserved
I wonder how my life must
Be changed
When I am not ready
To walk another mans way
If I have my way
Why will I change
So simple as this
Yet it is so difficult
For them to understand
Cos till now despite my
The knowledge I perceived
From them yet and still
I don't understand why
They don't understand
They don't understand
They don't look at the world
They ignored what reality says
Yet they want to change me
They can always talk about
Our problems
They know it but it not
A problem to them
If they benefits from power
Where will their chance of
Change come from
So when I rebel against
Injustice
I wonder why am misunderstood
I wonder yet and still why
They don't understand
