they call to me

They call to me These poems Lost minstrels Singing in a silent Wilderness A sunrise Gently awakening A forest Soft rain Tickling flowers Fall winds Whispering In the pines Chipmunks A moonlight kiss Remembered The circles Of a lazy hawk The scent Of her pillow The angst Of a sorrow Recalling a tear These words These poems Calling me To the keyboard Enticing me To write These poems

The words are like sirens. They evoke our emotional state. They wake us from task oriented and take us away as we relate. I know of what you speak. That the poems are so alluring. Nice to meet you. Love this poem!

Words are the friend of a poet. I enjoy this introspective view of crafting poems.

They call to me too, John. Hey, why am I paying double for my 'keyboard timeshare' anyway?!

Hello John, It is a beautiful ode to the allure of poetry. How you personify poems as ‘lost minstrels’ and describe their call is deeply moving. Your poetic imagery - from the ‘sunrise gently awakening a forest’ to the ‘moonlight kiss remembered’ - creates captivating emotions. It’s clear that your poems are not just words but a powerful call that draws you to the keyboard. Keep writing my friend, your words are truly inspiring! - Blessings, Daniel

Yes, a true poet hears the calling and must respond. So much to write about, so little time. Nice
