These Arms Long To Hold You
As I walk the barren desert
With a small flower in my hand
Leaving my footprints in the sand
Swiping them, to erase the hurt
I think of your smile miles away
Soft kisses shared in the cool shade
All of our headway we have made
There is so much I have to say
But, under desert skies so blue
With heart shaped clouds floating by
One teardrop falls from my eye
Because, these arms long to hold you
