Thesaurus Dreams
He was my thesaurus dream,
I met him in the days of geometry and algebra.
He always appeared learned and enhanced,
A rainbow I couldn't touch.
An essay of nouns, verbs and adjectives,
A narrative and descriptive essay of my dreams.
A sphere of silence between him and I,
I grew to love him, handsome to look at and accomplished athletically.
He would never know he was my fish and chips, my favorite egg nog,
My favorite thesaurus whom I hope to keep with me always.
I would choose him to be the teacher and then I would hope to learn,
I am at home with you a passage learned and scholarily.
My planet revisited, parallel universes that could be friends and companions,
How difficult humanity, we aren't Gods yet God guides.
Complex and versatile as the sunrise and the sunset,
I always pray for a miracle called reunion.
