Theres Your Answer

You want answers on how to fix all of this?,
You've been listening and following me, isn't it obvious?,
You've taken the time to search my heart, and listen to me,
This is what you should be doing with everyone else, can't you see?,
It is sad that I had to draw this much attention,
In order to get you to wake up, and start reflecting,
On others...besides always yourself all the time,
And here you thought I was your enemy, yet I stood for you the whole time,
You treated me like garbage, yet you want the truth,
You pushed me out the door, because my heart threatened you,
And I took your punches to prove to you,
That this world doesn't just revolve around you,
While the others left with a smile on their face,
And the heart of the matter stayed misplaced,
But they were the good guys, right?,
They knew, and didn't even care enough to put up a fight,
Or tell the truth, and reach out to you,
When they knew the whole time, yet I'm the fool!,
So yes,,I have every right in the world to be mad,
And I have every right to open up, and feel sad,
Because the Lord brought me to you when everything was falling apart,
I dedicated my life, and gave with all my heart,
And I got tired of seeing the revolving door,
And hearing dozens of stories too intimidated to share more,
And I had to step away, otherwise ide get eaten alive,
Unlike the others, I had to leave to survive,
So please excuse me for running for my life,
I'm the farthest thing from a threat, so worry about the others in disguise,
So if you think for a second that I don't love you,
You are highly mistaken, I just won't play the fool.
