There's Snow In My Heart
There's snow in my heart for you're distant it seems,
and our friendship of late's more a part of my dreams,
There's a coolness I feel though I know it's not Fall.
I swear I'm not aware of offending at all.
My sin's loaning you money that you can't return,
our political differences give you heartburn?
Is there sin not forgiven or pride ill-conceived,
Was your birthday forgotten, propriety grieved?
Your assistance most welcome but I'll still be here,
til Hell's fire freezes solid or clouds disappear.
