Notes About The Poem

There's no such thing as progress

there is ugliness in this world
where there is no need for it

why do we tolerate indifference
injustice, brutality and greed
when there's plenty to go around

it's a game of checkers for the have's
and mere survival for the have-not's

Great picture to go with this meaningful poem, Line. We have no supply problem in this world, we only have a distribution problem brought on by greed, the love of money and the power mongers of the world. Blessings my friend. Write On! Bill

well sound, insightful, and truthful words. The imbalance is mind boggling.

Inconceivable ~ especially when one gets on in age... i.e. the end being near and the hour of reckoning being so close... It really boggles my mind ~
