There's An App For That

i want something with that -
wispy, faint - new digital smell...
i want a phone -
that loves me - for me alone, well

not one that goes and hangs out
at the malls, bars, and coffee shops
- checkin' the sites all night
always eyein' for a better user

jus' plug me into a digital darlin'
that'll coo to me softly in bed,
gently puts things in my ear
'stead a pullin' on my plastic,
and messin' with my head

this app should start up without
approval, from some faceless
god-knows-who behind some curtain -
this app should be approachable
not apprehensive to be with me -
this app needs to be appropriate
an' intuitivley know me for certain
i want my app - to be apropos
to appear not to disagree

baby, i'm so lonely tonight
listening to that ol' tinney playlist
gimmie some o' that bright lovin' you got,
that i felt before, but missed

my app is hot - hell I got 4G spots
a lifetime of apparently, is too long -
never mind the two year service plan -
don't want no dollar a minute call-in sex,
my damn phone's a better love, man!

tell you what baby,
have your avatar connect to my avatar,
we'll do a recharge together soon - maybe
