There Will Come a Day

somewhere, in the future...
I could not guess just when...
all the bridges on earth
have collapsed and, also,
the hopes of all human men,

of course, the females
are represented...
at least I know, that
they are far superior
to men in many ways
this will soon be self-evident
at some time, maybe in
but merely days...

now we're dealing
in a time-frame
where skyscrapers
have long turned to dust
I don't know just when
this will happen.....
but I know that it surely must...

see, time will far outlive us...
just think, it rules it all
cause time is time,
and it has over us
the power of the pall

when the last earthly bone
has disintergrated..
into a pile of inert dirt...
our only consolation is
we no longer need feel so hurt
