Why are you whining to me?
What are you talking about?
I can't believe what I'm hearing,
Wake up!
Can't you see,
There is such heartbreak to see!
So you broke a nail,
And your cell phone failed,
Cut off in traffic?
I can't believe what I'm hearing,
Wake up!
Can't you see?
There is such heartbreak to see!
That baby cried itself to sleep,
There is no food to eat,
Shivering because there is no heat,
Daddy is gone, Mama has to work the street.
Wake up!
Can't you see?
There is such heartbreak to see!
So you can't decide which pair of shoes?
Or which Oakley's to choose,
What are you talking about?
I can't believe what I'm hearing,
Wake up!
Can't you see,
There is such heartbreak to see!
That young man died in the street
Trying to gain some integrity,
Live by the gun, die by the gun,
Nowhere to hide, nowhere to run,
Wake up!
Can't you see?
There is such heartache to see!
