There is joy in the world
But sometimes we're too busy to notice
Every bird that heralds the morn
Every sunrise that brightens our day
Every sunset and starry sky and aurora
Every colour and sound ever displayed
Every rainbow and cloudscape we treasure
Every country and culture and language
Every person and every soul
Every angel and demon we know
Every emotion and feeling we experience
Every lesson and blessing in life
Every quark and atom and cell
Every delightful meal and meeting enjoyed
Every moment we never want to end
Whether with a lover or a friend
Every child that jumps into puddles
Giggling and splashing about
Every toddler that makes a delightful mess
Grows their spark of curiosity evermore
Every person who does a happy dance
When they've accomplished something awesome
Every person who jumps and high fives
A win for them and their team
Every form of art in the world
Expanding hearts and minds
Every colour we use to express ourselves
Capturing creativity in all its splendour
Every piece of music and writing
Uniting souls beyond any limits
Melodies and lyrics and poetry
Rhymes and rhythms and song
For nothing is impossible
When you understand energy and magic
Frequency and vibration
Starlight and stardust and miracles
Seasons and changes and moments
Nature and consistent timings
The rhythm and rhyme is everywhere
Geometry and mathematics and science
There is joy in the world
It's waiting for you and I
Oh, my darling can't you feel it?
It's beyond space and time
