There Is a Treasure

There is a place,
Where the weary find sweet rest.
Where hearts are mended,
And broken people blessed.

There is a place,
Where the wounded can abide.
Where the hopeless enter,
And the fearful hide.

There is a treasure,
More precious than pure gold.
Someone who truly loves us,
And a gentle hand to hold.

There is a hope,
To guide us through the night.
it leads us onward,
To the realm of light.

In Christ we function,
In Jesus Christ we rest.
What ere' the trouble
In Him we find the best.

There is a love,
We see him on the cross.
Redemption granted,
For us he paid the cost.

There is a treasure;
We can have the prize.
When He comes forth,
And greets us in the skies.
