There’s a mirror in front of me, Jesus
There is a wind, a breath in me God;
No matter the vision, the view
Father I’m gonna let your Son shine through
There’s a mirror in front of Me Jesus
Serious consideration
Contemplation, deliberation
Pondering meditation
As in water face answers to face, so the heart of man to man.
As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man. As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person.
For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror;
Then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part;
Then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory,
are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory,
which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
