There Are Some of My Favorite Things
These are among my favorite things
Drinking coffee in the morning
While watching the news
And writing in my journals
Recalling my dreams.
Talking to my wife
When she wakes up
Filling the room
With the light
Of her love.
Dispatching my nightmares
Replacing them
With love and happiness.
Drinking tea
In the afternoon
As I work on my blog.
Evening drinking wine
At sunset
With my wife
The love of my life.
By my side
As long as I have her
I am the richest person
In the world.
