There

There they sit The objects on the beach Washed by the tide Waves of chemical solution No Earth like water For this is an alien world Full of familiar things Yet as different as moon and sun Seen in real time By a space probe Itself alien here Sent from Earth Across the gulf of space To observe and take readings Humankind the aliens Sending a craft To explore and detail What comes next? Manned craft and colonization Then onwards into space… from New Dawn 2971 Nick Armbrister and other authors/poets/writers
