Therapy From My Pad
Hello Alex, today we're going to talk about your problems and the act you hide behind
I'm able to see the pain in your eyes, no matter how big your smile shines
What you hide from the world, you talk to me about when you write on me
I can't talk back to you, or force you to express what you don't want to, that's what you like about me
You give me all because I can't hurt you, so your heart is safe
Your blood falls on the paper and proceeds to scar the page
You scribble out a lot of thoughts and that hurts me
Because I like what you write even when you think it isn't worthy
I give you the ability to talk about exes you miss without telling them
You talk about the nightmare you're living, so if they do see it, they know to not buy the dream you're selling them
I just wish you could learn to trust people the way you trust me
But when I'm not accepting your words, you throw me on the floor and scrunch me
You pick up the pen and talk about the demons that are walking with you
You open up to me and express it well
I provide you a little bit of heaven and take you away from hell
Thank you for listening Alex, this was your pad and I enjoyed talking to you
