The Zen Spirit of True Love Or What Is Love

the Zen Spirit of true Love or what is love? what is love the poetry prompt proclaimed explain what love is to someone who has never experienced love and had no idea at all no clue as to what love is I decided that I had no answer that would satisfy that love is sort of like the belief in God you either believe it or you don’t there is no rational basis there is no rational basis for love at all it is not just as second hand emotion despite the popularity of the song it is not chemical induced temporarly insanity it is not biological endured DNA programing hard wired to help us to get sex and make babies and then keep our mates to help raise said babies it is all of these things yes and scientists may someday and scientists may someday be able to pinpoint it all break it down in its component parts analyze the hell out of it but they will never understand it in the end it comes down to this Love is mysterious love is magic there is a certain zen element to love a certain taoist element as well there is a certain taoist element as well those who can define it have never experienced it and those who have experienced it can never describe it one can say a few things love happens when you least expect it love creeps up on you love happens when you are washing dishes drinking wine dancing at a club making love making love for the first time or the 10, 000th time and every time is different than the time before love happens when you give up searching for love waiting for love wishing for love wishing for the one then one day the one walks out I first saw this prompt five years ago and gave up trying to define love, but after 40 years of love I finally have an answer. It is based on a true love story for details on how we met see my story , "dream love" on my blog page, Https://theworldacordingtocosmos.co m or my various dream girl/love poems especially "the Story of How We Met" on AP I am writing a screen play called "timeless love" on this story as it would make a great movie. © 16 minutes ago, john Cosmos Aller

Again, you pull that taffy people call love and show it is undefinable, inexplicable, and so real it seems unreal-- much like God and the immortal soul in my experience-- well done!
