The Youth of Today
when i was just a little boy, a little skallywag
the worse things that i could of done, was getting caught with a ***
but times were much more different then, the law still had control
but somewhere from that time till now, the grip has just let go
drugs and booze, guns and knifes, the hate is clear to see
when once it was safe to leave your home , could now end in misery
so whos to blame for this madnes?, did music set the trend
can anyone please explain this to me, to have a theory to lend
some say its evolution, some say its not that bad
well try explain that to the child, or to his murdered dad
sad enough it will never change, the force just grows and grows
when did the children that we bore, become our living foes
is social services the ones with blood, soaked into thier hands
punishing your child is just so wrong, so give in to their demands
the wars our elders fought for us, seems to be in vain
when everywhere these yobo youths, kill without no shame
but life goes on, and backs are turned
swept far out of sight
so prepare, when you go out there
cos they just dont give a shite.
