The World and I

I step out into the night
A cool, moist breeze kisses my cheek
Moon and stars peek from behind clouds to greet me
Steps fall softly on the gentle grass
As the Earth embraces my soul
Crickets sing to me
And the leaves of the tree dance
The world is at peace with me, and I with it
