The World

We speak of the world as though it is one, A singular place in which we live among, And so we are taught and lead to believe, There is only one world of which to percieve, But upon exploration I think that you'll find, The meaning of 'world' as it is defined, Is not just a place known as the earth, But an experience of living based on self worth, For every living creature and all of mankind, Live in their own world inside their mind, And the world's seven wonders, In all of their glory, Can't begin to heal a mind, Of sadness and fury, For happiness lies in the place we reside, Our very own world known as our mind, So be kind to yourself and your neighbour too, For he lives in a very different world than you

Wow just wow. Okay I had a little bit of trouble with your 3rd stanza until I considered it but farther. You are right that the wonders of the world can't heal a broken mind. You are so right about the neighbors living in a different world. Wow!
