The Wonder of God's Grace
God's grace is a wonderful thing
it affects your right down deep inside
showing how deep is God's love
receiving it draws you to abide
Experiencing this grace changed me
having been widowed was so real
left on my own wondering what next?
but God came with grace to soulfully heal
God's word was a source of depth
enriching me spiritually so divine
filling my mind by God's holy truth
leading me in His way, grace is His sign
Divine truth was such a real delight
filling my heart with God's loving touch
this leaves one in astounding wonder
for God's loving grace is never too much
Looking back with true thankfulness
on how God's grace filled my heart
lifted me up when I was so alone
reminded of Christ's redemption in no small part
(This touch of God's grace when I was widowed way back in 1982 but God's grace made all the difference in my life at that time.)
