Robert, the brand name was WONDER BREAD and yes it was a staple of our dropline fishing expeditions and it had a half life close to that of radium....

Ok, you got me here. I saw "lyric" and I saw "Bread" and was expecting "Bread" as in the music band, Bread. Goodness though, now you just made me hungry reading this, so many yummy possibilities with bread. So true, how one can't make sandwich without bread-- made me think how I think it was the Earl of Sandwich, being so intent to play his card games one handed, he thought of having his meats as filling for bread. Or something like that =Sandwiches Thanks for sharing your thoughts in my write!

Connie we ate WONDER BREAD - "helps build strong bodies eight ways" while growing up. Not sure if they still make it. It was the perfect bed for a Fluff-er-nutter sandwich..??? that's Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Fluff as combination that is probably banned in all the healthy eating domiciles of the world....BUT OH SO DELICIOUS....

Ah yes, "clever"...I've always liked that word and its multiple interpretations and implications.

COOL JINGLE, John!. I think it is just the right size too. I went overboard with mine!! When I was trying to be more serious about my diet, I would eat the breadless sandwiches. I think "in and Out' burgers serves them on a a lettuce leaf. hahaha.

I think the marketing idea behind the "jingle" is to have it pop into your mind as you shop and lead you to "their" product. Mostly I remember the jingles....but not what they were selling.

You can put a lot of stuff in it, sir! You are just too funny!!

I thought of naming it "An Ode to the Brown Baggers".
