The Winter Tree

“The Winter Tree’. The winter trees are dreaming, of violent summer storms, wind, thunder, and lightning. Of wild horses running in the rain, under a harvest moon, chasing night rainbows. Falling snow tickles their branches, A falling tree, That: never hit the ground, she didn't surrender to your chainsaws, because you caught her, and re-made her, forcing her, to sail the seven seas. She was fuel to your fires, Lighting the darkness, keeping you warm, and alive through bitter winter storms. Yet, you hammered rusting nails, into her limbs, her arms, and her feet. As you double-crossed Jesus, and God lay dying, at her feet? Now she’s under water drowning, Watching Sperm Wales mate, and Vikings falling into the deep and, They kill each other, just above. She will dance on your bleaching bones, that.? Feed the winter trees. Drunken deer make snow angels, waiting. Things will be better when your older….. Helvegen. Phaedra’s arms waiting, We will dance on your bleaching bones, that, Feed the winter trees. The winter trees are dreaming, Dreaming, of violent summer storms, wind, thunder, and lightning and, Wild horses running in the rain, running under a harvest moon. chasing a night rainbow. Falling snow tickles their leaves, As, drunken deer make snow angels, Things will be better when your older Helvegen. In the end: Lighting strikes as BeetleKills. Phaedra’s song waits, for you. Awaits; to sing you home. In the end: Lighting strikes as BeetleKills. Phaedra’s song waits, for you. Awaits; to sing you home.
