The Winners of Change

Who are the winners of change
The inevitable evolution of life
Technology progresses
Tastes flirt with trends
The world advances
But do we

Preparation, intuition or foresight
Can ensure success
The ability to stay afloat
But are we better for it
Maybe

An old man laments a simpler time
But isn’t youth in hindsight
Always sweeter, no matter the era
I wonder
Who are the winners of change
I’m not really sure
Perhaps, just those who can
Embrace it
