The Window and the Mirror

Liar, liar glass encased in a frame
you offer a clear view of the world
or so you claim. The world that is
perceived through you, is sparkling,
shiny and brand spanking
new. Liar, liar
in the bathroom
beauty I
wish I
saw.

Two different clear pieces of glass, and two different stories.

Yes, mirrors hide so much which is inside the person. I always enjoy reading a poem in this form!

Thank you for alerting me to this style of writing. I am happy though that a syllable counter is a thing, it made this fairly easy to use.

I love this Miranda. Mirrors can be so deceitful (and the light too) :))

Yes, they can be deceiving especially to anyone with low self esteem.
