The Wind Shepherd and Shepherdess

The Wind Shepherd and Shepherdess

The winds,
 Like a shepherd and shepherdess,
Herd blackness,
 In swirling ghosts -
Mysteries rising
 From wastelands of wildness
Casting veils of gloom,
 Haunted by thunder,
Trying to stampede -
 Corralling tumbleweeds.

Thank you so much Paula! #4 in the series to come. And, great minds, I thought it would be fun to put all four poems together as one! Be blessed, dear friend!

Thank you so much Jennifer! Thanks to John I decided to write a series based on The Wind Shepherd - found it on a scrape of paper while organizing my poetry! Hope you are doing well. Many blessings to you! Stay well.

Sam, I just realized this is a series! Even more impressive. Can't wait to read #4! It must be windy where you live, or you just have a great imagination (maybe both)! "Mysteries rising / From wastelands of wildness". Wonderful imagery throughout.

Hi John. I have you to thank for this series. Your comments on The Wind Shepherd were so on base - inspired me to write three team mates to The Wind Shepherd. Your astute messages aren't just "blowin' in the wind." And, in the summer we have calm mornings but many breezy afternoons! Thank you, as always, for your message! Many blessings, dear friend!

Great imagery. Fortunately in my neck of the woods, the winds have opened up a beautiful blue sky for us. Thanks for your kind visit Sam.

Many thanks, Richard. Had fun with this one. Know what it is like when the clouds clear in the great north woods revealing blue skies and spring! Enjoy the sunshine! Blessings.
