The Wind Beneath Angel Wings

the wind blew that day
the hearse shiny black
the coffin so small
for a baby boy-
weeping filled the air

a lullaby
slipped from my lips
in the wild wind-
drifting with tears

with heads bowed
hearts broken
he left us -

on small
angel-

wings
