The Wind

Can you hear the wind? Blowing through the trees Looking for someone to listen to its pleas Can you feel the wind? Pushing you forward To try new things Things you normally wouldn’t do had it not been for the wind Can you see the wind? Moving things that come in its path Making trees look like they are dancing Blowing leaves out of the path But with the good wind There is also the bad It sweeps your lives away With its vicious gusts Something you can’t forget Something you can’t hide Is that you are fond of the wind Until it hurts you where it counts Until it hurts you on the inside Sometimes if you talk to the wind you won’t get a reply It likes to hide from what it has done What it has destroyed

Nicely done Tiffany. It is supposed to be extremely windy here today so your poem was the perfect one for me to read.
