The White Roses Died With You
You went away breathing death,
I couldn't stop you then,
Your helplessness stopped my breath,
I cried for you,
I felt so blue,
It's raining tears again,
Before the snow melted, you were gone,
I froze on seeing you,
My white roses wilted on that dawn,
There's nothing left,
I feel bereft,
You were my sister true.
